In 2007-2008, Discover Science and Engineering took its first steps into the blogoshere with Project Blogger. With the help of some very enthusiastic science teachers and their pupils Project Blogger has been put through its paces and is back this year, bigger and better!
The aim of Project Blogger is to provide second level students with a web space to create your own science blogs and share your experiences in science with classmates from your own school and from other schools around Ireland. Science blogs can range from curriculum experiments to transition year experiments, Scifest, BT young scientist, science construction projects or even just a science conversation! This year we have teamed up with Scifest (www.scifest.ie) to provide you with a web space to store all your important project results, pictures, graphs, videos and discussions! You can also keep your blog private if you wish to keep your project Top Secret before entering Scifest! You can then publish it and unleash it on the world after the competition!
